In Japanese, the word "teppanyaki" comes from teppan, which means iron plate, and yaki, which means grilled, broiled or pan-fried. Teppanyaki is one of the most popular ways of food preparation in Japanese cuisine. Food is cooked directly in the centre of a heated surface right in front of the customers, while the side parts of the griddle are used to keep the food warm. CASTA’s Teppanyaki griddles are custom-designed and made to measure, allowing the client to choose the dimensions of the cooking plate, the number of burners and electric elements he/she wants to include. The particular thermal characteristics of this chrome griddle mean that cooking takes place only when the food is actually in contact with the griddle, thus saving energy and avoiding useless dispersion of heat.What is a Chinese range? It's a special custom-designed, made-to-measure kitchen, ideal for the preparation of Asian food. Its high performance burners (ranging from 9,5 Kw to 33 Kw ) allow food to cook completely and quickly.Are Chinese ranges built in China? Absolutely not. They’re fully made in Italy and built in our factory in Forlì.What is an Eurasian range? The name Eurasia was created by CASTA by joining the words Europe and Asia. The Eurasian range in fact, features both the burners typical of our Chinese range (which heat the entire pan uniformly, allowing food to cook completely and quickly) and traditional burners typically used for preparing European dishes. This combination makes the Eurasia range perfect for the preparation of all kinds of food.What are conveyor belt ovens? They're special ovens used in the food industry, perfect for the preparation of typical Italian products from the Emilia Romagna region such as piadine, crescioni, tigelle and sfogliate, and other types of flat breads.How long does it take to receive the goods once an order has been placed? 3-4 weeks starting from when the order is received (unless indicated otherwise by CASTA’s staff)Only for Teppanyaki griddles, 6-7 weeks starting from when the order is received. How long are the appliances under warranty? CASTA’s products are covered by a warranty against any manufacturing faults for 12 months after the date of shipment. In the cse that any parts need to be substituted, transportation and installation of the same will be covered out and carried out by the purchaser. The warranty does not include electrical parts and does not imply the replacement of the appliance. The warranty does not cover any damages that may be caused by transportation, faulty installation, poor maintenance or improper use. Ordinary maintenance is not covered by this warranty and is at the buyer’s expense. This warranty regards only the buyer and does not extend to any third party. |
